Referral Program Terms

1. Eligibility

• You must have a registered AstroAnimal account in good standing and meet the age and eligibility requirements in our Terms of Service.
• Referral codes are for personal, non-commercial sharing with people you actually know, unless you are an approved influencer or partner (see Section 7).
• One reward per account, ever. Each account may receive a referral or promo reward as a recipient only once.
• You cannot redeem your own referral code, and two people cannot redeem each other's friend codes to each earn a reward.

2. How the Program Works

The program supports three kinds of codes:

A referrer's reward is earned only when the friend they invited starts a paid subscription or free trial — not merely on sign-up. This protects the program against fake sign-ups.

3. Nature of the Reward

• Rewards are free promotional access to AstroAnimal Premium for the stated number of months. They are granted in-app and are not a product you purchase.
• Rewards do not auto-renew. When the free promotional period ends, your access reverts to the free tier and the standard subscription offer applies. You are never charged for a referral reward, and no payment method is required to receive one.
• Rewards have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and are not transferable, assignable, or saleable.
• Free promotional months may stack with each other and with existing paid time, extending your Premium expiry accordingly.

4. Limits and Expiry

• Each code may have a maximum number of redemptions and/or an expiry date. Once a code is fully redeemed, expired, or deactivated, it can no longer be redeemed.
• Personal friend codes are subject to a redemption cap to keep sharing personal rather than mass-distributed.
• Referrer rewards are capped at 6 per rolling 365-day period per account.

5. Prohibited Conduct and Fraud

To keep the program fair, you agree not to:

• Create or use multiple or fake accounts, or use another person's device or identity, to redeem codes or earn rewards more than once ("multi-accounting" / "account cycling").
• Redeem your own code, or arrange reciprocal redemptions designed to manufacture rewards.
• Publicly post, list, sell, or mass-distribute referral codes (for example on coupon, deal, or discount-sharing sites), except where you are an approved influencer/partner acting within Section 7.
• Use bots, scripts, automated tools, emulators, or any automated means to generate sign-ups or redemptions.
• Misrepresent your identity or your relationship to AstroAnimal, or engage in spam in violation of applicable anti-spam laws (e.g., CAN-SPAM, CASL) when sharing your code.
• Otherwise abuse, manipulate, or interfere with the program or attempt to circumvent these terms.

If we suspect, in our sole discretion, that a reward was obtained through fraud, abuse, or a violation of these terms, we may withhold, delay, reduce, void, revoke, or claw back the reward and any Premium access granted, and may suspend or terminate the accounts involved, without notice and without liability, as described in the Terms of Service.

6. Changes to or Termination of the Program

The referral program is offered at our discretion. We may change, suspend, or discontinue the program, or modify reward amounts, eligibility, caps, expiry, or these terms, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. Changes apply prospectively. Your continued participation after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Influencers, Partners, and Disclosure

If you share a referral, influencer, or partner code in exchange for any compensation, free products, Premium access, or other benefit, you have a "material connection" to AstroAnimal and you must disclose it.

• Disclose clearly and conspicuously that the post or message is sponsored or that you receive a benefit — for example "#ad", "#sponsored", or "paid partnership with AstroAnimal" — placed where your audience will actually see it (not buried in tags or behind a "more" link).
• Comply with the U.S. FTC's Endorsement Guides and any equivalent advertising-disclosure and consumer-protection rules in your jurisdiction.
• Do not make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about AstroAnimal, and do not promise outcomes the Service does not provide (the Service is for entertainment purposes only, as described in the Terms of Service).

Failure to disclose, or non-compliant promotion, may result in removal from the program, forfeiture of rewards, and account action.

8. Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes that may apply to rewards you receive. Where required by law, we may request tax information or report rewards to tax authorities. AstroAnimal does not provide tax advice; consult a professional if you have questions.

9. Privacy

To operate the program we process limited data — including which account referred which, code redemptions, conversion events, and abuse-prevention signals such as a hashed network identifier. We handle this data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell this data.

10. Platform Disclaimer

The referral program is offered solely by AstroAnimal and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Any questions about the program should be directed to AstroAnimal, not the app stores.
